   On évoque un fait contraire à la réalité introduit par des déclencheurs

2. Emplois

a. On évoque des évènements passés en soulignant leur caractère révolu.

Ex: (Perte du pouvoir du roi, Coldplay, « Viva la Vida » :)

A rapprocher de l'emploi de « not … anymore »

b. On parle d'une habitude dans le passé.

Ex: When I was a kid, I used to go to Scotland every summer.
